Intelligent Video Collaboration - Shaping the New Virtual Workplace
Described as the most challenging year in business history by many, 2020 also brought about some unexpected growth drivers. While video conferencing and collaboration tools were already becoming ubiquitous, they became the center of business communication overnight. The magnitude of how collaboration tools will change work schedules can certainly not be understated. A survey among executives and office workers conducted by PwC in June 2020 highlights the increasing demand for a permanent flexible workweek into the limelight. Most office workers (83%) who participated in the survey wanted to work from home at least one day a week.
How this will impact the workplace as we know it is still up for debate. But one thing is for sure. This fundamental shift in the way we work will drive the demand for better video collaboration through the roof. It will become imperative for the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) industry to continually innovate and adapt to the evolving user requirements.
